An anonymous star
It was a perfect role for me: starring in a musical where principles come before personalities. I thank God for the opportunity.
Oh my! October’s almost over!
This has been a wonderful & busy October & somehow I’ve managed to not post a thing. I may create separate placeholder posts for the three biggies, in case I decide to backtrack & write more about them.
These were the Key West trip w/Gene; starring in the recovery musical at a 12-step convention; & the French / Gilliland Estate sale.
A key observation in this summary post is that it was very busy & I not only neglected blogging but also got behind on daily actions such as maintaining some order in my personal & shared spaces. I’ve also not taken as much time to enjoy & share sunsets, kitties & fishing! When things get to a more leisurely pace, the weather may become an obstacle. Time will tell.
Even though I haven’t been writing as much or sharing as many photos, I’ve mostly maintained an attitude of choosing joy. I pray it continues.
One other thing I just want to note is that it caught me a little off guard as I was enjoying Facebook memories of celebrating Becky’s birthday & was reminded this is also the day of 2011 that Daddy died. It’s been 14 years now. Again this year, I’ll likely wait until tomorrow to post anything about that anniversary.
Or I may not post anything, because October wraps up tomorrow with another busy day, as the Goodrich craft fair & bake sale starts on Halloween.
